totally me.

Pernah la dulu aku jawab satu personality test nih.sangat best jawapan dia. sampai aku simpan la kat word. tapi x ingat la link dia sebab dah lama.test nih nak tau kita dominan otak kanan ke kiri...jawab la empat lima ketul soalan lepas tuh keluarlah result....
You are a right brain dominant student!
You probably get bored during long lectures and prefer to take classes with a lot of freedom of movement and thought. You like to write stories and even tell stories about your funny experiences. You might be a little suspicious of other people's motives sometimes, but that's only because you can usually tell whenever someone is lying or when they're up to no good. You are a little on the dreamy side--or a lot. You plan books or movie plots but you don't always follow through on things you think about. You should work on that. You are fun and spontaneous, and probably active in sports or clubs. Your feelings run deep, and it shows. You have strong instincts, and you solve problems on hunches and feelings. You are artistic in some way. You can believe in things based on experience, without seeing scientific proof. You might be a finalist on Survivor some day, since you know how to read people so well, and you have great survival instincts.
Do you get bored when teachers lecture too much? Do you feel like you can size up people easily by watching them? If so, you may be right-brain dominant.
Characteristics of Right-Brain Students  *pink are notes by me ^^,

Advice for Right Brain Students
·         Choose to do personal essays

·         Let your imagination work for you in the arts
·         Let your intuition work for you in social situations
·         Let your deep thinking work for you during essay tests—but don’t ponder too long. that's my problem.I ponder way too long.
·         Be creative with essays. You can use colorful language well. I like doing variation but sometimes I tried too much that I stuck writting a sentence.
·         Use images and charts when you study. helps me a lot.
·         Write down directions. a must do.
·         Try to be more organized! I tried but it's hard!
·         Don’t be overly suspicious of others. Oh. how did you know?
·         Make outlines to organize your thoughts.
·         Choose fiction in reading assignments
·         Try to avoid teachers who lecture a lot; choose teachers who use activities uh-oh.Big problem. university only got lecturers.and they lecture A LOT! I'm sleepy~~
·         You tell stories well, so write some! I can't. my brain works faster than my hand. I tend to lose my ideas while writting.
·         Put information into categories for better understanding
·         Avoid getting bogged down by thinking of all possibilities when answering questions. haha.this is why my mouth kept shut when teacher asked.I thought too much.
·         Finish things! You have so much talent, but you don’t always complete things. how I wish I could.I often stop things in the middle.

sekalian yang cenderung otak kanan, amacam? ada tak yang sama? yang otak kiri gi carik sendiri la ye.haha.

tuesday with morrie

This is a book worth doing nilam. This book has soul.

3. “Learn to forgive yourself and to forgive others.” (p. 18)
4. “Don’t assume that it is too late to get involved.” (p. 18)

7. “The culture we have does not make people feel good about themselves. And you
have to be strong enough to say if the culture doesn’t work, don’t buy it.” (p. 42)
8. “So many people walk around with a meaningless life. They seem half-asleep, even
when they’re busy doing things they think are important. This is because they’re
chasing the wrong things. The way you get meaning into your life is to devote
yourself to loving others, devote yourself to your community around you, and devote
yourself to creating something that gives you purpose and meaning.” (p. 43)
9. “ . . . if you really want it, then you’ll make your dream happen.” (p. 47)
10. “The most important thing in life is to learn how to give out love, and to let it come
in.” (p. 52)
11. “Love is the only rational act.” (p. 52)
12. “I don’t allow myself any more self-pity than that. A little each morning, a few tears,
and that’s all . . . . It’s horrible to watch my body slowly wilt away to nothing. But it’s
also wonderful because of all the time I get to say goodbye.” (p. 57)
13. “Sometimes you can’t believe what you see; you have to believe what you feel.”
(p. 61)
14. “What if today were my last day on earth?” (p. 64)
15. “Once you learn how to die, you learn how to live.” (p. 82)
16. If you accept you are going to die at any time, then you might not be as ambitious
as you are. (p. 83)
17. There is no foundation, no secure ground, upon which people may stand today if it
isn’t the family. (p. 91)
18. “Don’t cling to things, because everything is impermanent.” (p. 103)
19. “ . . . If you’ve found meaning in your life you don’t want to go back. You want to go
forward. You want to see more, do more. You can’t wait until sixty-five.” (p. 118)
20. “Money is not a substitute for tenderness, and power is not a substitute for
tenderness.” (p. 125)

25. “Be compassionate. And take responsibility for each other. If we only learned those
lessons, this world would be so much better a place.” (p. 163)
26. “Forgive yourself before you die. Then forgive others.” (p. 164)
27. “As long as we can love each other, and remember the feeling of love we had, we
can die without ever really going away. All the love you created is still there. All the
memories are still there. You live on—in the hearts of everyone you have touched
and nurtured while you were here.” (p. 174)

30. “You’re not a wave, you are part of the ocean.” (p. 180)
31. “ . . . there is no such thing as ‘too late’ in life.” (p. 190)

those phrases are true but empty words if you just go through like that without reading the whole book.
read the whole story and you'll feel those phrases come alive.

To me, this sentence affect me the most: "Once you learn how to die, you learn how to live."
Begin with the end of mind. Islam already taught us that. remembering death. Heaven or Hell. you choose.

buku ni ada fikrah Islam. sebab Islam is the way of life. and this book tells about life.
tapi biasalah buku non-muslim tulis. ada jugak lah yang tak selari dengan ajaran Islam. buang yang keruh, ambil yang jernih. pandai2lah tapis.

Mati itu pasti. Hidup itu InsyaAllah
